The Sennheiser MKH60-1 super cardioid RF condenser has been discontinued. The MKH8060 shown below is Sennheiser's recommended alternative. The MKH 60-1 was a high quality RF condenser short gun microphone. Versatile and easy to handle it was excellent for film and ENG applications with superb off axis rejection and a high degree of directivity. It had a lower noise floor than a 416 and smoother off axis rejection with switchable LF cut, HF lift and 10dB pad. Features Extremely low inherent self-noise, with high sensitivity and directivity throughout the whole frequency range. The transformerless and fully floating balanced output together with the RF condenser design principle ensured excellent audio quality and reliability even in damp and humid conditions. Switchable attenuation, low cut filter and high boost provided great flexibility to deal with a wide range of professional sound recording situations in drama, documentary or accoustic music.
