The Schoeps MK 2S omnidirectional capsule is for use with the CMC 1 or either of the CMC 6 capsules and has a slight high-frequency emphasis.

This frequency response characteristic falls between that of the MK 2 and the MK 3, making the capsule suitable for a wide range of applications.
