Sound Devices A10-RX-SL digital receiver now discontinued - see link to the new A20 receiver belowThe Sound Devices (previously Audio Ltd.) A10 Digital Wireless System is designed for the technical demands and requirements of today's RF-hostile, multi-channel productions and provides broadcast-quality audio, reliable digital RF performance, and easy multi-system setup. Its proprietary digital RF topology and Advanced Digital Diversity is the result of years of research, laboratory experimentation, and customer experience. The result is a wireless link with full 20 kHz audio bandwidth, high dynamic range, ultra-low distortion, and industry leading 2 millisecond end-to-end delay. The two-channel A10-RX receiver works with one or two A10-TX transmitters. With its Advanced Digital Diversity System the A10-RX receiver selects the best signal between each channel's two receivers. When at the limits of system operation ADDS combines error-free digital packets from each receiver resulting in lossless, wireless digital audio up to the absolute limits of operation. Clever stuff isn't it? This is the Uni/Superslot version suitable for use in the Sound Devices SL-6, SL-2 and the A10 Rack, other manufacturers radio receiver holders or suitable equipped video cameras. It can be changed to the XLR version by replacing the base plate.
