Sound Devices MX-Hirose Power Adpaptor for MixPre Recorders

Here's an alternative way to power any of the Sound Devices MixPre audio recorders. The MX-Hirose DC Input Sled simply clips on to the rear panel and you can then connect power from say, a Hawk-Woods NP type battery with a suitable NP adaptor. Or perhaps a Deity SPD1 power distributor - Oh look there they are shown down below.

To remove the MX-HIROSE from the MixPre, press in the release tab. On the MixPre-10 II, it is necessary to use a flat blade screwdriver or similar tool.

Top Tip - set MixPre Menu>Power>Battery Type to NiMH
